A Nigerian Wedding Tradition (Family Introduction Ceremony)

I had the pleasure of capturing yet another beautiful Nigerian wedding ceremony between the families of Osagie & Ogbeiwi’s. This event is typically known as the family introduction ceremony, where families of both husband & wife meet & greet at a private ceremony to introduce each other and exchange cultural customs/traditions of their respective hometowns. The ceremony was very interesting and colorful and I enjoyed capturing every moment of it. I also learned a lot about another cultural ceremony within my country Nigeria. The ceremony is based on traditions from the city of Edo, Nigeria This is only Part 1 of the ceremony. Part two shall be uploaded shortly.
